Shopping for your Self-Catering Holiday
“Great taste, traceable origins and products created with passion”- that’s what you will find here in Derbyshire.
As a small independent business, we know that at this time how important Love Local is and support other local businesses wherever we are able. During the past months, the #LoveLocal hashtag has become quite a phenomenon around the UK. We are devoted to discovering local artisan food producers and sharing these finds so that our guests can enjoy all that the Peak District has to offer whilst on your staycation in Derbyshire.
#LoveLocal also enables our guests to experience some of the real Peak District traditions, flavours and produce discovering artisan suppliers. They often create unique products and save food miles, which in turn reduces their carbon footprint and allow consumers to be confident in field to fork traceability. Local farmers can tell you how animals are reared, the crops are grown and harvested. The seasonal produce, which is packed full of flavour as nature intended, also supports local suppliers, which helps protect our distinctive Peak District landscape. The result is a great range of artisan businesses.
