Reducing the Risk of Covid-19
Last updated 25th November 2021
Although many restrictions have been relaxed for the benefit of guests, our staff and the local community we continue to take some actions to help minimise the risk from Covid. The vast majority of these actions will not be ‘visible’ to our guests, as we want you to enjoy the time you spend together at Derwent House. In addition to the information below we are asking guests to take some actions prior to departure to assist us in minimising risk. We will communicate this prior to your stay with us.
We know how important holidays and time together is with family and friends. The icons below show what actions we are taking to keep everyone safe- guests, our staff and the wider community.

We are working to industry standards
We are working with industry standards (AA/Visit England) and Government guidelines. Visit England has confirmed that we are compliant with the guidelines to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. Our primary aim is to keep us all as safe as possible. We have applied for accreditation to provide assurance to guests that we are doing all we can to suppress the virus.
We also have a full risk assessment and you can access a full copy HERE. We will continue to revisit our risk assessment and make necessary changes when advised to do so by industry standards and/or government guidelines.
