From 12th April to 16th May we are able to welcome one household groups to stay (please call us for bookings). From the 17th May we can welcome two households/bubbles or up to 6 people from different households. And from the 21st June groups of up to 12. Find out more here.

Why Stay in Matlock?
Derwent House is ideally situated in Matlock, on the edge of the Peak District, at the side of Hall Leys Park. The park is a wonderful space with children’s play facilities, boating lake, tennis courts, wonderful floral displays and of course the park café. Around the edge of the park, just a short walk from Derwent House are local pubs and bars, restaurants, varied shops and independent retailers.
The house is well equipped and furnished to provide you with a comfortable and relaxing stay, with an oak-panelled dining-room, a lounge and the ‘snug’ ideal for informal socialising when preparing dinner. A superb Georgian house for a celebration, reunion or for families to come together, with plenty of space to relax, rest and unwind.
Derwent House is surrounded by the rolling hills and moors of Derbyshire and the Peak District with plenty of things to do for all ages, it’s the perfect destination for a holiday, short break or weekend away, throughout the year. The central location of Derbyshire makes this a great location for meeting up with family and friends from different parts of the country.
