The house is well equipped and furnished to provide you with a comfortable and relaxing stay, with an oak-panelled dining-room, a lounge and the ‘snug’ ideal for informal socialising when preparing dinner. We hope to welcome guests back to Derwent House from July. Dependent on government restrictions but the well-being of our guests & community is paramount.
Now our movements, rightly so, are restricted. Although we can’t travel there are still so many lovely sights all around the world. So, we thought we would share some of our favourite places in Derbyshire and the Peak District.
The most famous of all the food and drink produced or invented in Derbyshire has to the world renowned Bakewell pudding. Not to be confused with the very different from Bakewell tart.
